    South African Artist Veronica Prins

I chanced upon this amazingly gifted South African painter. She doesn’t market her work, but she sells her art. I thought it was time I took her out of the closet and shared her with YOU. These are the works of VERONICA PRINS. Remember the name. I know you won’t have any trouble remembering her art. If you’re interested, please send me an email –  jill@jillwallace.com – or shoot me a note via the contact page on this website, and I will put you in touch with Veronica. There is nothing in this for me other than a great pride in a talented fellow South African. ~~~~~

THIS IS A STONE’S THROW FROM WHERE, IN 1950, MY PARENTS MET THEIR FRIENDS WHO INSPIRED THE STORY AND CHARACTERS OF “WAR SERENADE.”

HE SAID, “2 DAYS AGO I WON $50,000 ON A $3 SCRATCH AND WIN”. I SWEAR THE JOY WAS COMING OUT OF HIS EVERY PORE. I SAID, “WHAT WILL YOU DO WITH YOUR MONEY?” THIS MAN, CHARLES, SAID, “I AM GOING TO PAY MY RENT A YEAR IN ADVANCE… BUY FOUR NEW TIRES FOR MY TRUCK……
